Anien Bell Interiors is a design studio and boutique store in Durbanville, South Africa.
Since 1992, we've created interiors for residential, commercial, and educational spaces across South Africa and the world, with past projects also in Switzerland, England, Australia, and Namibia. Each project is treated as a collaboration, ensuring every detail reflects your unique vision.
Our aesthetic balances classic and contemporary, introducing new to old, rough to smooth, grand to humble. This interplay creates spaces that feel both familiar and transformed. We identify what's missing and find solutions instinctively—at project's end, the transformation feels so natural you'd never imagine the space any other way.

Studio
The Durbanville studio, known to many as Green Scene Interiors, houses art, furniture, outdoor planters, and sculptures.

The studio began in Philadelphia, a village in the Western Cape's farming foothills. What started as a hobby for a former farmer quickly became a calling. In 2002, an opportunity arose to buy a friend's residential house on Oxford Street in Durbanville.
That beautiful, unpretentious single-story was transformed into what many know as Green Scene Interiors—a space where every room has its own personality, stocked with sample books, furniture, art, outdoor planters, and unique objects from local and international designers.
