Anien Bell Interiors is a décor studio and boutique in Durbanville, South Africa.

With over 25 years of experience across residential, commercial and educational projects, Anien creates inspired interiors that blend taste and texture for your unique space.

Anien began her career as a decorator in Philadelphia, a village in the Western Cape's farming foothills. What started as a hobby for the former farmer quickly became her calling. Informed by this rural backdrop, her style marries classic and contemporary elements, mixing European and South African influences to achieve interior harmony. Her holistic approach quickly identifies what's missing and finds pragmatic solutions with ease.

She introduces new to old, rough to smooth, grand to humble—at project's end, you'd never imagine the transformation.

Anien opened her first premises in Philadelphia, inside an old horse-saddle leathersmith's workspace. This led to their first Durbanville studio, but rapid expansion soon outgrew the space.

In 2002, an opportunity arose to buy a friend's residential house. Anien took it. This beautiful, unpretentious single-story on Oxford Street became the ideal studio after refurbishment—every room has its own personality, stocked with sample books, furniture, art and unique objects from local and international designers.
